I believe that the responsibility, the privilege, and the journey of self-healing innately belong to each of us. Yes, it’s up to you. American poet Mary Oliver asks, “what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” This is the challenge for us to know and co-create. I believe that we are the manifestors and the designers of our “one wild and precious life.” My life’s practices are an entry point for equitable opportunities for both humans and equines on their healing journeys.

My life’s passion can be summarized as equality for all. Through Horse and Heart Ranch, my nonprofit organization that I run alongside my family, we create access to the healing environments of nature and horses for children in foster care, families in transition, and underprivileged and transforming individuals. I am passionate about thoughtful guidance and holding sacred space for the unique and ever changing growth on our paths. I embrace manifold diversity amongst all animals and all sentient ones. As an American Filipina, I advocate for the empowerment of people of color. I believe in equality for all, no matter one’s gender, sexual orientation, or identity. I believe in inclusive feminism. I believe that we are stewards with a responsibility to hold and protect animals, the land, and the Mother! Our relationships are developed over time through active listening, consensual movement, and living agreements. We learn how to be present, resilient, and joyful. We develop self-mastery as we become skillful at partnering in the relational field, intuitively, naturally, with little apparatus, a lot of trust, and expert partners and nature on our side.
